Getting started
How do I create an account?
You can sign up with your phone number, or with an email address and password. You can also sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook.
What are circles?
Circles are small, user-defined groups you create — like "close friends" or "roommates." You choose who's in each circle, and you choose which circle (or which friends) a post goes out to. Nothing you post is public by default.
Posts & echoes
Why did my post disappear?
That's expected — posts automatically "burn" (become invisible to others) 24 hours after you share them. This is core to how Fiammo works, not a bug. Your own copy isn't lost; see "Can I get a burned post back?" below.
What's an echo?
An echo lets someone respond privately to a specific line or phrase in your post, instead of commenting publicly. If you're the author, you can see who echoed your post and how many times. Other readers only see an anonymized indicator that an echo happened — no names, no counts.
Can I get a burned post back?
Burned posts aren't immediately deleted from our systems. If you need a specific burned post restored or permanently deleted, email privacy@fiammo.co with as much detail as you can (approximate date, circle it was shared to).
Constellation (AI insights)
What is Constellation?
Constellation is an optional feature that looks at your own posts over time and surfaces patterns or themes in your writing. It's processed through a secure backend and a third-party AI provider (Groq) — your content isn't used to train any third-party model. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I turn Constellation off?
You can disable it from your in-app settings at any time.
SMS notifications
I got a text from Fiammo I didn't expect — what is it?
If a friend added you to one of their circles, Fiammo sends a single one-time invitation text on their behalf, inviting you to opt in to future notifications. You won't receive anything further unless you reply YES.
How do I stop getting texts?
Reply STOP to any Fiammo text at any time. To start receiving them again later, reply START. You can also manage this from your in-app notification settings.
Account & data
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from in-app settings. If you'd rather we do it for you, or you're having trouble finding the option, email support@fiammo.co from the email associated with your account (or tell us your phone number/handle) and we'll take care of it.
How do I request my data, or ask for it to be deleted?

Report a problem
Something's broken, or someone's misusing the app.
Email support@fiammo.co with what happened, your device/OS version if it's a bug, and any relevant handles or circle names if it's a report about another user. We take harassment and misuse of the circle-invitation feature seriously — see our Terms of Service.
